The alpaca fiber has a natural shine. It is breathable, has unique thermal properties and contains hardly any lanolin (wool fat). This makes it suitable for allergy sufferers, babies and the most sensitive skin. Dust-repellent, self-cleaning, low in lint and almost completely free of pilling.
The product should not be exposed to strong sunlight for long periods of time. Otherwise, UV radiation may cause discoloration.
Care:
To preserve the unique properties of the alpaca fiber, we recommend that you regularly vacuum and shake out your fur product. Occasionally brushing the fur with a special brush maintains its natural shine and removes light dirt. Products made of alpaca wool can be washed by hand in lukewarm water (< 30 degrees) or on the wool cycle using a mild detergent or wool shampoo. In the case of heavy soiling, we generally recommend professional cleaning.
